Not far from the beach which is worth a visit if only to see the beautiful sunset, this hotel is conveniently located in Platanias center. the rooms are clean and cool, and some have recently been redecorated. the staff is friendly and accommodating, even loaning hairdryers to guests. There is a small swimming pool in the hotel's green garden, always quiet and clean. Breakfast is included and while not anything special, it is enough for most tastes.
The hotel does not have a pool bar, as advertised locally.

Spent Easter with my family at a hotel in Rethymno and it was fantastic! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist and suggest places to visit. The breakfast was fabulous, offering a variety of freshly made dishes. The highlight for me was the stunning swimming pool, which was surrounded by lush greenery and provided the perfect relaxation spot.
That the hotel was located on a busy road which was sometimes noisy. we found that the nearby restaurants were not very authentic and tended to cater to tourists more than locals.

Great value for money and excellent location, just a short walk away from restaurants and shops. the swimming pool was clean and crystal clear, providing a refreshing escape from the hot sun. the rooms were spacious, modern and comfortable with optional air conditioning, making for a great night's sleep.
The towels provided were quite old and could do with being updated. the breakfast could have been better with more options available.
